Yoga and me

I have been practising yoga for 10 years and my practice has been through many cycles and phases. Just as I am constantly learning and changing, my yoga practice is too. 

 

I have found that yoga provides a powerful toolkit to connect with your inner world. Through finding a form of consistency and discipline, whether that’s a couple of minutes a day while doing the dishes or a morning mantra, meditation and movement practice, we can cultivate real change in our lives.

About my classes

I teach in a Hatha Vinyasa style. My classes encourage you to bring a beginner’s mind and to get curious in your inner world and physical body.

 

The classes are intended to be accessible but challenging (not always in the physical sense of the word). The crux of the practice is to get you moving and breathing and to cultivate awareness. It is from this place of awareness that we can access new insights and connect to our truth.

 

As the word suggests, it is a “practise” and I hope that the lessons learned on the mat give you something to take away with you and to practise at home too.

I also teach at local primary schools and cover regularly at Fitness Space Surrey Quays, Oru Space and Yoga House in London.
